SCHRIFT <-> SPRACHE

»Type ↔ Language - Gender-Sensitive Written Languag & Its Typographic Implementation in Design« deals with the situation that the presence of a (gender)inclusive punctuation mark - on the one hand with the already existing, mosty binary gender signs, but rather with newer, progressive forms - should and must support the representation of all people in society. Why typography and design are closely linked to language is addressed in this work and consolidated by means of excursions into the philosophy of language, writing and the coherence of the two subjects type and language.
